It is #6 mittens for me and I still have one problem . It is thumb. When I try to pick up the stickers from the side of the thumb the stickers become strain and big and I always have hole. I made so many mittens and can't fix the problem. may be I haven't not enough tension or #of needle it isi wrong. Any suggestions??? Thanks.

It is hard for me to tell without a close up of the thumb. Some things to try would be to try to make the pick up row tighter, especially the kfb. Also, make sure your stitches are correctly oriented when you pick them up from the taking the waste yarn out, if they untwist, it could be making the pick up row looser.

I like these. The bottom is great.
