What materials did you use? Cottons, batting and fabrics from my work room. Some of them bought especially and some even curtain material. Also painted fabric for the water.

Thanks Gloria for teaching me so much in this class. This started out as a picture of Santa Monica in a newspaper and I longed to sew my interpretation. I learnt how to do it on your course. Not least I learnt how to fabric paint which was brilliant. I used the materials I had and switched around the elements of the picture. the only element of Santa Monica that remains is the tiny Ferris wheel on the shore and my interpretation of Palm Trees. Thanks again I am looking for my next picture to interpret.

Thx Iminei I am proud of this picture. Although what the photo does not show is that I accidentally left some of my freezer paper templates in the branches of the palm trees. Good job the picture is not for washing ! LOL
