What materials did you use? cotton fabric scraps; cotton thread; plain newsprint. I based my design on Quilt Magazine's Jn?JL 2013 issue, page 26 design by Marissa Lare.. I pieced the top and it was quilted by Janet McAdams.

What are you most proud of? I was able to use up lots of scraps and make a clever string quilt

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just grab your scraps and cut away in any width, make every block unique

I made this string quilt using scrap fabrics in tans, browns and bieges and then purchased backing with coffee cups because it was a gift for a friend who loves coffee.
