1) We started with a petal template. 4 sets of different sized petals for a total of 16 petals per flower.
2) The center is a rectangular piece of paper, rolled and cut at an angle.
3) The petals are then pinched around the thumb and between the forefinger and index, shape the petal into a natural curve with a bit of a crease in the bottom center. (Prepare all petals before moving to the next step)
4)Starting with the smaller petals, glue them around the rolled piece of paper with the angled edge at the top. Repeat with the next 3 sizes of petals.
5) To finish put a little bit of glue in the center of the rolled up paper at the bottom. Place the wire in, and squeeze until glue cools and secures itself.
