What was your inspiration?
I wanted to do something for the Fourth of July but I also wanted the kids to be able to wear their shirts after the holiday. So, they have a snazzy pair of sunglasses and a firecracker that can be used as Mom's little firecracker after the holiday.
What are you most proud of?
I very pleased with the appliques. I am a newcomer so I am still struggling with embroidered names and getting them centered and straight.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just follow the directions that come with the pattern The appliques were very easy to do (their names are still a challenge).
