What materials did you use? I know corsets aren't made with stretchy fabric. This one is a corselet, though, which is an entirely different thing. So I used a black polyester-elastane-blend and left overs of red cotton to make this corselet. I also used rigilene tape for boning.

What are you most proud of? The embroidery turned out prettier than I'd expected. It really adds to the playfulness of the garment, making it a bright, happy choice when I don't feel like wearing something steel boned. It's comfortable and light, and the elastane makes it durable and flexible.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure to check your measurements first! The pattern is designed for stretchy fabrics, but since the corselet is to have a snug fit, you'll want to make sure you're getting that.
