What was your inspiration?

The gorgeous yarn was my inspiration. Deep color and super soft texture--a joy to work with.

What are you most proud of?

I love the drape of the finished product, and the simplicity of the pattern itself. This is a great introduction to lace knitting as well as short-row shaping.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Splurge on that fabulous skein of yarn you've had your eye on! This shawl takes only one skein (420 yards), and will make good use of that luxury purchase ;-)
