What was your inspiration?
Elderberry Cardigan combines classic and simplicity into a definitive, lovely piece that will be a favorite year after year.
What are you most proud of?
The sleek look that flatters any body type!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid of the fisherman's rib. Once you get in your groove, it is quite easy.
To be able to knit this cardigan, you should be able (or ready to learn) to knit, purl, knit one stitch below (fishermans rib), follow simultaneous shaping instructions, decrease, measure armhole depth, pick up stitches, and seam pieces together.
My patterns include detailed instructions on gauge (both working and finished), the cable cast on, and a 5-st One-Row Buttonhole.
