What was your inspiration?
I wanted to do a funky winter hat. I'm still looking for a wild earflap pattern with a sherpa, hunter's cap, mohawk look. I'm trying to make up that pattern.
What are you most proud of?
I've widened my horizons and have gotten away from afghans for awhile. This is my second hat that I've crocheted. The first was the little baby hat in the papoose set.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Play with colors and textures of yarn. The more texture the better! Get noticed on the slopes!!
