Love the look of hand dyed yarns, but wanted to work with safe, easy to find materials.

What are you most proud of?

Colors came out vibrant.

I had so much fun doing this this year and still have more dye tablets left to do more. I also use Wilton's Icing Coloring, Kool Aide, and Dylon (what they use for tie dying.

They dye works best with animal fiber such as wool. I don't know if it would work well with cotton or man-made. For that you might have to resort to commercial dyes. Hope that helps!
