What was your inspiration?
I am making a quilt that has blocks of my favorite things and the Dresden Plate is my favorite quilt block ever. I did use the Craftsy BOM pattern for this block.
What are you most proud of?
That the circle laid flat after I sewed it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
To get a Dresden Plate tool to cut by. Take your time and cut very carefully. Sew an exact 1/4" seam, not scant so your plate will lie flat when done.
If you like things, put them on paper and make a quilt. It's fun !!!!
