Quilting: Dresden Plate

Dresden Plate

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Instructions

I used sew-in interfacing in the back of the big circle of the wedges instead of material and cut it half an inch around the seam, so it won't be too bulky for quilting. I also chose to use 5 different fabrics (scraps).

Lovely fabrics - look so cool. I wish I had thought of using interfacing for the back of the wheel - would be some much easier for the quilting.

You are always so nice, Beth. I would say use the interfacing and cut it around after sewing it right side together and turn it over, then cut it around leaving a little bit

very pretty, actually looks like the wheel is moving! Glad to hear you used interfacing for the back of wheel because that is what I was thinking of doing as well, now I definatly will.
