What are you most proud of? How nice it looks in person. I have only made a few sewing projects so this really turned out well. I'm also proud of the fact that I could use up some of the extra material for a smaller hot pad. I used my scrapbook (Xyron) machine to cut the flower out, so that's pretty cool. The flower also covers a cut that I made by mistake!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Really pay attention to how you cut the material, it can get to be a problem if you make the cuts a little crooked :( The back of the table runner was cut wrong so you can see that it doesn't look the best. I tried to quilt but I'm no good, so I marked out even lines and just did a diagonal design...very simple but it's a place to start. Also, make sure you have the rest of your material out of the way before you start cutting, lol!
