I found pictures of this fab apron on pinterest but didn't end up using the pattern. I made up my own.The pattern is double sided and ties behind the neck. Mine is slightly lower in the front, it ties around my waist and is single weight and no tie behind the neck.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's not tricky - if you don't use the commercial pattern (I didn't) use an apron that fits you to get a rough idea of size.
