Materials
Some mill ends worsted weight for pink skirt and Vannas Choice for dark purple and black skirt. 2 half inch wide buttons for each skirt and a size F and size G hook.
What was your inspiration?
My daughter always wants me to make clothes for her American Girl dolls. This idea just popped into my head.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud that a lot of people have had a lot of success with this pattern. I've even had people make this to sell on their Etsy shops. (I do offer permission for people to sell the finished items of my patterns. But you can't sell the actual pattern.)
It's exciting to see people enjoy your work.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a great project for a newer or experienced crocheter. It works up fairly quickly for instant gratification. And your doll will look really cute too!
