a friend wanted to pay me to make a quilt for her friend who had a baby boy

the whole way it came together as I didn't have a pattern to go by
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
give attention to detail like precise cutting and sewing of seams like you would with any quilting project...have name done first on your chosen fabric then cut it out after you know exactly how you want it placed in the design
