Ch55 R1: With main color, sc in 2ndch from hook. sc in each st across. Ch3 turn (54sc) R2: tc in each st across. Ch1. Turn (54 tc) R3: sc in each st across. Fasten off. Weave in ends. R4: Count in 16 sts from the right. Attach yarn with slip stitch. Ch3. Dc in next 24 sts. Ch1. Turn. (24dc) R5: sc in each st across. Ch3. Turn (24sc) R6: dc in each st across. Ch1. Turn (24dc) R7: sci n each st across. Ch3. Turn (24sc) R8: dc in each st across. Ch1. Turn (24dc) R9: sc in each st across. Ch3. Turn (24sc) R10: dc decrease, dc in next 20 sts, dc decrease. Ch1. How is rhw flower placed?

I made the button with a hole in the center, and then use it as a button hole. The button holds the flower in place.
