What was your inspiration?
I wanted to mark a cake which I thought suitable for my parents diamond wedding and I think this was perfect.
What are you most proud of?
The finish as always and the flowers which were very easy to make but looked stunning with the diamanti stones
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are making a sponge cake make sure you recipe is moist but firm and make extra flowers in advance as you will not have many days to actually prepare and decorate not like you would with a. Fruit cake.
