What was your inspiration?
My husband wanted a jean quilt.. So I went to a local thrift shop.. and as many jeans as I could stuff into two baskets..(which was 21 pair) I paid a total of $15.00 cdn.. there were no two pair of jeans the same.. I started by de-seaming the jeans , then cut them into 3" strips..and starting with the central block just sewed around till it was over the 12" size.. cut them true and then sewed them together.. the backing is a minky type of blanket.. very warm.. I also sewed the pieces on an old sheet cut into 13" squares.. I feel that it makes the squares more stable as some of the denim is stretchy..
