What advice would you give someone starting this project? Wonderful 2 row repeat pattern! Not for the newbie, however. I would suggesting going on YouTube and watching a video if this is your first attempt at crocodile stitch. This is the video I used http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wi5Ohm5vrfY I'm not sure you can complete the fringe on the pattern without another skein, so buy one extra than the pattern suggests.

WOW!! I love this. I have a pattern for the Crocodile stitch, think I'm going to start going through the binders. Great job Sheila !!

Evelyn, thank you! Once you get the hang of it, it really is quite easy and you can zip along without looking at the pattern.

Your choice of yarn is just perfect for this pattern! I hadn't even heard of this Patons yarn before. How many balls did you need?

I think her pattern calls for 3, but I suggest buying 4 if you want to add all the fringe that is stated in the pattern.

Thanks, Sheila! I bought this pattern about a year ago but hadn't been able to think of a good yarn to do it in. You've now given me a GREAT choice!
