Glass Waterfall Necklace

Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
Crochet necklace »

Instructions

Using the featured pattern as a guide, I used five stitches per row instead of seven and used 32 gauge wire as that was what I had on hand. It turned out okay as stainless wire is more rigid - which is why I think the smaller gauge worked out for me. I need to work on my crocheting skills though. :-)

Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Whimsical

Materials

32 gauge stainless steel wire, assorted glass beads, silver plated cones, 3 mm leather, lobster clasp.

What was your inspiration?

The marvelous pattern designed by Aga Kruk!

What are you most proud of?

The fact it turned out so well!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read the pattern through several times before starting.
Ensure your beaded wire is well supported so the wire doesn't kink - I wound mine around the spool as Aga suggests in the pattern.
Don't be afraid to try this pattern. Even if your stitches aren't perfect, it will still be a thing of beauty.

Great! I like the idea with cones at the ends.
