What was your inspiration?
My inspiration for this and more blankets to come in the star shape, was my grandchildren. When I saw the Aztec Star blanket in a book, all I saw was a shining star, just like I see my grandchildren.
What are you most proud of?
I just love how beautiful the design came out with all the pinks and that this blanket hangs over a queen size bed.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't always go by what a pattern says. Be creative and choose your own colors and design. I intend to use the guidelines of this pattern to make many more blankets in various colors.
