What advice would you give someone starting this project? Trust Myra when she tells you about sizing. My first sweater was too big, this one is better. I think the next one will be perfect!

You did a great job. And like everyone has commenteds, a lovely lace pattern. Did you crochet the band around the sweater?

Yes, I used crocheted bobble stitch. I changed the slant direction of the bobble at the neck so the stitches would run in the same direction.
