What are you most proud of? Designing from a fat quarter so there isn't any waste. Making it fast, fun and easy so that they get excited and want to make more.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun! Once you do one you will see how easy it is to assemble you'll be making them for gifts!

I love this!! My Mom made one of these for me when I was a tiny girl. Long before there was ever a pattern for one, or that she had seen or heard of anyway. I used it until I was too big for the ties to go around me any more...then I hung it on the wall above the old school desk my Dad bought and refinished for me. Thanks for the awesome memories, and sharing the wonderful piece you made!

Thanks for your comments and sharing your story it is very sentimental. I love designing patterns for the little artist/designers that I teach. They are an inspiraiton to teach and I hope that I can also inspire them with excitement to create and sew more. I look forward to contributing more designs. Thanks again!
