Henry Glass Fabrics
What was your inspiration?
Amy from Craftsy.com and the fabrics that I won from Henry Glass Fabrics was my inspiration, I have so much fabric that I need to jump into a big project to try and use some of it up, so I can buy more ;) I've never had a complete line of fabrics before so this is pretty cool. I'm adding another bundle of fabrics to this project, the fabrics are called Zippee by Connecting Threads, the colors match and they are whimsical so I think they'll be a great addition for the blocks.
What are you most proud of?
That I'm already done with February and ready for March and that my blocks look right when I'm done.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
pay attention to what she tells you in each step, when I made the chunky chevron, I didn't read the part about trimming the blocks down to 3 1/2" and ended up having to take everything apart and resewing to make them work.
