What are you most proud of? I had never tried putting a zipper in by hand - great technique! Matching the print was a fun and exciting challenge. I'm thrilled with the outcome.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take it one step at a time, enjoy the process. Do not try to do this class with a deadline approaching. Do it for fun the first time. This dress took many hours!

The fabric print and the piping and your work, all equal a gorgeous dress. TFS and good work!

Lovely combination of pattern, fit, fabric and trim! Thank you very much for sharing.

I just wanted you to know that when I need a little inspiration, I always come back to see this dress. I have been practising on many other items of clothing before going back to Susan's class, as I felt overwhelmed by the couture techniques. I do like the idea of your cotton batiste for the underlining. I also think you did an excellent job on your Sandra Betzina pants. I'm still struggling with that one!!! I look forward to seeing what you do next. Do you have a web site or blog about your knitting? Thanks for sharing your fine work.

Wow, Donna! Such kind words! Thanks. I needed that today. I got a little overwhelmed with Susan's class too, but I just tried to break everything down into small steps and kept trudging along. Before I knew it, it was done! I have retained much of what I learned and although I won't make all my clothes or even dresses in a "coutour" way, I have used all of it. I'm taking a break from pants and working on Suzy Ferrer's classes! Having a ball!

Oh, and No, I don't have a blog or web site for my knitting. Taking a break from that too to work on sewing clothing that fits. :)
