What advice would you give someone starting this project? I wish there was a better materials list for this class - it doesn't mention that you'll need an underlining AND a lining (I didn't know the difference before the class). The whole process took about 6 months, so I was happy that I had bought material that I really enjoyed working with (except for the lining - it is kind of meh). I learned a LOT in this class and have a new appreciation for quality garment construction, though I think it will be a little while before I make another couture garment again.

Well Done! It looks like you will get a lot of enjoyment from this dress. It is so versatile and timeless.

Thanks! I was "helping" a friend get some use out of his new portrait lens for his fancy camera. It was a win-win!
