What was your inspiration?

I'm always looking for new ways to do old things. I've had several requests for a 'sheep' blanket. I've never successfully create a design that would look good from all sides, so thought a flock of sheep walking the parameter would be a good subject to try.

What are you most proud of?

That the side sheep, knit vertically look as good as the horizontal sheep.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Before you start reading the instructions, look at the chart to visualize the order you want the bobble design and seed designs. The pattern shows the bobble sheep leading 4 seed sheep in each direction. If you want to change the order or number of each type, make a new chart. Then all you have to do is plug in the correct set of instructions and you're off and running.
