What was your inspiration?
My daughter is studying for a law degree (as well as working full time!) She has a lot of heavy books to carry and needed a nice roomy bag. I thought a backpack would be ideal. The pattern was in a book by Lisa Lam called A Bag For All Reasons. It can be used 3 ways - as a shoulder bag, backpack or remove the long strap and carry it by the small grab handle.
What are you most proud of?
The fact that I finished it in time for Christmas and that my daughter loves her new bag!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time and be patient but stick at it. The results are worth all the effort!
