For the design I used plates from my kitchen to draw the circles. For the compass and background grid I used a ruler. I used a little bit of a garland to line out the form underneath the compass and did the feathers freehand after that. In the middle I made a flower as a focalpoint.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
The wholeclothe of Cindy Needham inspired me and also other students of the course. I didn't know that it would be a finished Quilt from the start. That's why I choosed the old Christmascurtain as backing. :)
What are you most proud of?
That I finished the Quilt and really made all of that FMQ. I learned a lot and also to start and stop the way Cindy teaches.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
To go with the process and rely on your feeling. You don't necessary have to make your mind up about the whole design when you starts quilting.
