What materials did you use? Galway worsted weight wool yarn

What are you most proud of? Sticking with the project, especially after having to undo a good chunk of it when the lace pattern didn't block well for me and, consequently, didn't look good when I tried it on midway through. Once I had the right lace pattern, it came out very nicely indeed.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The measurements and swatching instructions were excellent in achieving a good fit - just be sure to swatch the lace pattern well, too, and block it to be sure it "opens up" in the way you want.

Thank you! It took longer than I expected - of course, I didn't like the first one so unraveled 80% and started over from there, but happy with results!

I love how this turned out! I'm trying to decide what to do about sleeves. I also made the longer version, but am undecided about where to start the fan and feather pattern on the sleeves. I like how you did the lace on the cuff. I think it makes the body more special. Nicely done!

Thank you for your kind remarks - and they came on a day I could really appreciate them. It took me awhile to find the right lace pattern - the recommended one just didn't lay flat enough for me. Let the lace pattern you use "suggest' how deep to knit the lace in the cuff so it feels proportionate to the depth in the body. Feather and fan should be very pretty and should "hang" nicely too.
