What was your inspiration?
My stepmother crochets, and every time we went to visit her and my dad, I would watch her thinking, I do not know how to crochet. A few years ago, it occurred to me that maybe I could--under her tutelage. She was more than willing to take me on as a student, and I have been crocheting ever since.
What are you most proud of?
I made this for my first great niece--and it's one of her favorite blankets. When my nephew comes to Colorado to visit, this is the blanket he brings with him!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just learn how to keep your tension, and you won't have any trouble!
