|Here are some details about my project:|
What materials did you use? This is a plus size version of McCalls shirt pattern 6606. I used cotton blend Broadcloth from Joanns in Navy with fashion buttons. I also added lining fabric from a formal dress I hemmed and used it as the cuffs and the under collar.
What are you most proud of? I am proud that the inside of the shirt looks like it is professionally made and that the shirt fits.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is my 3rd shirt from the Classic Tailored Shirt class with Pam Howard. It is my first time attempting the cuffs. I work with Pam on my computer and attend to my sewing as she walks me step-by-step through the process. I also used plus-size fitting techniques and the fabric left over from my tailoring ready to wear project from my other craftsy classes.
