What materials did you use? 100% cotton, quilting fabric

What are you most proud of? On this shirt, I changed the cuffs from square to round, put in tower plackets, which I totally love and used my brand new Janome 8077 sewing machine (a birthday present from my DH) to make the buttonholes

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The tower placket looks difficult, but if you watch and follow Pam's instructions it's not. You just have to remember to put the right side of the placket on the wrong side on the sleeve. But if you don't it's an easy fix (ask me how I know).

Thank you Zinc6. One of my next goals is to make a shirt for my DH. If you have any words of wisdom I would really like to here them.

In the mens shirts I have made so far I find the sizing to be very large - the next mens shirt I make I am going to measure the various parts of the persons existing most comfortable shirt and base my size choice on these measurements. Also I think pinfitting helps alot to fit the shirt for its wearer.
