Large citrine rough nuggets, largeold black jade pendant, black annealed steal wire.
What was your inspiration?
The yellow citrine sitting next to the black jade in my studio. It just clicked in my hea. Next I was making beads out of the black annealed stall wire. I started string ing the beads and decided to make a wire wrapped bail for the pendant. I strung the beads and pendant on 14 inches of tigers tail, then made the chain and clasp out of the same wire so everything would match.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of the fact that I made all of the metal pieces and I love the way it turned out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Let your imganenation fly. Never copy anyones work. Look at it and take it where your imganeation and skill takes you.
