I used 22 gauge wire to make the coil and wrapped it around the smallest part of the mandrel 10 times. There are no loops formed on the circle which serves as a large 'jump ring' and the other elements are attached directly on to it.

What was your inspiration?
Aga Krup's chandelier earrings and the bead circle earrings.
What are you most proud of?
I wanted to make these for my daughter and when I realised that I did not have the appropriate gauge wire I came up with my own variation . The loops are getting easier to do and I was pleased with the end result. It was a lot of fun and now I have something very pretty to give to my daughter for Christmas.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be patient with yourself and take your time. Don't be afraid to give new ideas a try , revisit the class as often as you need and ask questions. It is a great feeling completing a project.
