Where can I get the free pattern for the red dress with a beanie? When I go t o the link it gives there is a pink dress and headband. Would appreciate some help. Thank you.

Hi. That is the correct pattern for the dress. I just changed the colors and added ribbon. There is no pattern for the beanie. I just made a very basic beanie, and added a picot edge and snowflake.

Thank you. I understand now

How many rows did you shorten the skirt to make it smaller? And how many skeins of the Caron Simply Soft did you use?

I didn't keep track of how many rows because I was using the measurement as my guide, but, from the pattern's 6 mo size, which has a 7 inch skirt, I shortened it to a 6 inch skirt. I used almost 1 skein.

I seem to have a little problem with the back...it doesn't overlap neatly...

I had the same problem which is why I use 3 buttons. It holds it neater than the 1 button called for in the pattern. It helps to steam and shape it too.
