What was your inspiration?

My granddaughter Jana basically designed this. She loves fairies.

What are you most proud of?

Jana picked the fabric and the size of the center panel. We saw a pattern with the windows in the Keepsake catalog and decided to add them. Plus it allowed us to fancy cut some fairies to show case them. From then it was just pick the fabric and making borders.
I did quilt this quilt using free motion quilting. It was my first project to actually do the quilting on.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid. Just jump in and give it a try. Start with a fabric you love.
