What materials did you use? Printed panel and 100% cotton. I used a smokey mono-filament thread to emphasize the panel scene, not the quilting. The tension apparently was not quite right on the small stars and I was about to rip them out, but actually think the "extra color" from the bobbin green, adds a "sparkle" effect to the points of the stars, so they remain.

What are you most proud of? The overall effect. The free motion quilting still needs work, but getting better with each project!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The panel gives an opportunity to follow a "pattern" and gain confidence in different free-motion quilting techniques/patterns. You can make it your own by using different threads, borders, embellishments, etc. Just FUN!
