What was your inspiration?

I had wanted to make an advent calendar for my nieces and nephews that showed the nativity scene, I had a hard time finding a pattern that I liked. When I came across Ashlee Wolf's blog (via Pinterest) I loved what I saw and took it from there!

What are you most proud of?

I'm most proud of the fact that I used several different sources for ideas and was able to design this project without explicit instructions or measurements.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Give yourself plenty of time. The figures are not difficult to make but are time consuming and very detailed.
