What materials did you use? Plaid taffeta, black velvet, red organza, red tulle, red lining fabric, red fancy fun faux fur, faux 'silver fox' fur, black ribbing. Materials are for a dress w/attached underskirt, faux fun fur lined overjacket, lined faux fur hat and matching muff.

What are you most proud of? The entire ensemble is exactly as I had imagined it. I utilized 5 different commercial patterns, and several 'patterns' from my own designs to construct the entire ensemble. Hence there is no single pattern. It is a lovely little outfit, and I can't wait to see the photos of the recipient visiting Santa.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just dive in, but have plenty of time to alter and adjust for accurate fit.

Thank you Clarissa. It was a lot of work, but worth it. It also has a custom garment bag, but Craftsy doesn't allow enough pics per project to show it. Thanks again for the nice compliment. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

how beautiful! It is so wonderful to see that someone still cares abouth their child dressing for the holidays.

Actually this was for my best friend's little great granddaughter. We took it to last night. You should have seen her eyes!! I love to dress little girls beautifully. Their entire demeanor seems to change when they are 'dressed up'. Thanks for the lovely compliment.
