What was your inspiration?
Found a pattern book that had lots of tapestry potholders and fell in love, SInce then have designed many of my own but have not directions, I just make them from a hand drawn picture.
What are you most proud of?
That these potholders will become heirlooms if cared for.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You need to be an experienced crocheter to carry several different colors of thread along and to achieve the correct tension so potholder remains flat.
