I made this as a present for a 70th Birthday.

What are you most proud of?

It took several months to complete and I was very pleased with it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

You need lots of patience !

Would it be possible to do the needle point as a totally black cat with just a little tiny scruff of white under her chin? If the yarn were available, I would make this in honor of my lovely, deceased cat, Cassandra, who is sorely missed too soon at 3 years of age. The cat's eyes and the poppies, would allow me to help with the grieving. Cathie Elliot
