What was your inspiration?

Wanted a quick afghan to use during the Christmas season.

It looks great!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

My daughter took one look at this afghan and named it the candy cane afghan. I used a Q size crochet hook and crocheted the two yarns together. It's a simple stitch but I can't remeber how to do the foundation row! I didn't bookmark the website and now I can't find it again! The stitch for the body of the afghan is chain 5, single crochet in to the chain 5 space of the previous row all the way across . It makes a fluffy and lacey afghan. If I come across the pattern I will post it on here. Happy Craftin' Ya'll!
