Instructions

I used a Cala Lily pattern (from Bear Paw I think) then just centered it and hand quilted. I used the remaining batiks in a simple square border surounded by 1/4" black bias.

This is gorgeous Morag. The calla is one of my favourite flowers (although as a former florist it's difficult to choose!!) I've never tried quilting but after seeing the stunning quilts on this site I really must have a go!

I warn you now - it's addictive :-) My friend did a similar one after seeing mine, but did it as a dark pink Cala Lily for her sister's ruby wedding. It was stunning!
