Cactus Pincushion

Pattern Info

Pattern info for this project can be found here:

Instructions

I used the 2nd pattern down for my pincushion. I also used a smaller hook to obtain a tighter stitch so the pins wouldn't get lost inside.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Plant or Flower

For: Home

Style: Funky, Whimsical, Casual, Classic, Cute, Traditional

Materials

8 ply yarn in light green, dark brown, red & terracotta. Size 3.00 crochet hook Fiber filling Dressmaking pins

What was your inspiration?

I love cacti & succulents & so does my aunty, so I thought this would make a fun gift for her.

What are you most proud of?

I was happy the pins look like the spikes of a cactus

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

These patterns are very simple so can easily be made larger or smaller. You could also use a small terracotto clay pot instead of crocheting one.
