What was your inspiration?
I created this pattern because my hands are always cold. With the fingerless mitts, I can still write or type as needed. I wanted a bold cable design but couldn't find one, so I created one on my own!

That people are actually making my pattern.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Follow the directions for the thumb gusset exactly and make sure to count your rows.
