this is so pretty...I don't have the money to buy the pattern but it is on my wish list...I wonder if it can be made in cotton yarn?

Thanks so much. If you want to try a cable hat try this freebie at Interweave http://www.crochetme.com/Crochet-Hat-Patterns/. I am sure you can make it in cotton, just make sure it is really soft yarn.
