What was your inspiration?
After returning home from spending the holidays in St. Louis, I wanted to do something to start looking forward to Spring. Looked into my closet and found a tee that I begged to be updated. Butterflies always remind me of spring. So, this was a natural.
What are you most proud of?
Simplistic design coupled with a combination of silk ribbon and embroidery floss and a willingness to explore with color.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Trust in your instinct and allow yourself to explore. Just be open and try.
