Materials

This box was made for friend with a butterfly theme. I used Tim Holtz distressed inks for the flower on the top of the box (which is a coffee filter) and for the lid. Inside I used different embellishments, I used ribbons, butterflies, distressed ink and different flowers. I also made the little flower basket in the center of the box from the cricut cart, tags, bags and more and glue flowers in the basket.

What was your inspiration?

I just love these little explosion boxes and decided to make one for my friend

What are you most proud of?

I like the way this one turned out including the little flower pot

Hi again, Your Butterfly box is amazing. Wow wow and wow. Please help me make one. As a breaved parent, I belong to The Compassionate Friends, its a support group for Parents, Grand parents and siblings that have lost a child/ loved one. You are welcome to check their website. just type the name,They are all round the world. Our emblem is the Butterfly, Cause as silkworms became butterflies, they have second chance at life. We too as breaved parents are like those silkworms and butterflies. After grief and healing, we re-invest in life and carry on, because we have too, As we have families that we need and they need us too. I would love to do a craft day with our small group of breaved parents and try to do your box. With your permission of course and give credit where credit is due. I would like to make one for Our Leader of our group Sharon, (who's little 4yrs old daughter fell out of a 7th floor window and died abt 24yrs ago) She is amazing leader, and this box with the Butterflies would be an awesome thank you gift for all she does for our group. Let me know. I would really appriecate your OK and your help to make on . kindest regards Pam xx
